Well, the Wheat Kings lost tonight 4-3. I was really hoping they would win, as it ppears they outworked Saskatoon through 2 periods. This is uncharacteristic of the Wheaties, as they usually finish strong. Hopefully they can turn it around tomorrow, or they are finished.

Well the Wheaties hung on to win last night, and take a commanding 3-2 series lead heading back to Saskatoon. Fehr returned, and help spark Brandon to victory. One more game, and they will likely challenge the Calgary Hitmen for supremacy in the Eastern Conference!
The Wheaties overcame a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Saskatoon Blades 5-4, and move on to the Eastern Conference Championship against the Calgary Hitmen. The Wheaties will have their work cut out for them, as the Hitmen are a powerhouse in the WHL.
